Workshops and Talks
From new stargazers to advanced astronomers, these hands-on sessions will teach you new skills. Learn how to participate in citizen astronomy projects, how to connect with your local government about protecting dark skies, and how to plan your astronomy vacation.
NOVA Program Preview
Are you just starting out in the world of astronomy? Join us for an afternoon preview of our New Observers to Visual Astronomy Program. The program is designed to teach beginner astronomers everything they need to know to get started in observing.
Keynote Speaker
Join us Saturday evening for our evening session on Canada’s role in astronomy and space exploration.
Astro-Tourism
As light pollution affects more and more people living in urban centres, the desire to escape the city and see the skies in a truly dark place becomes more popular.
This year we will host sessions useful for those working in astro-tourism, as well as those who may travel to see the stars.
